Den Stammbau zu kennen ist wichtig um zu verstehen, woher die Lehre kommt und eines der Kriterien um Missbrauch/Scharlatanerie zu verhindern.Der "Stammbaum" ist auch ein wichtiges Qualitätskriterium bei buddistischen Meistern
